Spotting

Adult male Blackbirds are instantly recognisable with black plumage and, during the breeding season, an orange yellow eye-ring and bill. Females are  brown, often with a paler throat patch. Juveniles are a warm brown with spotted feathers. 

Feeding

Blackbirds prefer to feed on the ground. Attract them with a mixture of peanuts, dried mealworm and berry flavoured suets. For more information on berry suet treats products.
